If you are a mage/warlock, you use the addon to advertise that you are available for summoning/portalling. You can set your price and any notes that you want displayed along with your name/location.

As a traveler, you use the addon to search for warlocks/mages throughout the world that can either summon you to where you want to go or portal you to your destination.

Use "/traveler" to bring up the interface or click on the minimap button. If you want to start advertising, use the "Start" button in the advertise tab.

How it works (in general):

Traveler uses a background channel called "Traveler" to do all it's communication. When the addon is running, it will try to join this channel and then turn off it's output to the chatframe so you don't see anything going on.

Mages/Warlocks who are advertising their services will periodically broadcast their information (such as location, cost, notes, etc) into this background channel. Everybody else running Traveler will intercept this spam and add the information to their supplier data which is then seen in the destination tab.

As a customer, you will only see mages in your zone when you select one of the capital cities as your destination. Mages must have the Portal spell for advertising to work, and Warlocks must have Summon and have at least 2 other people in their party for advertising to work.

When you click on "Request" in the destination tab after selecting a mage/lock, it will send a whisper to that player however you will not see that you are whispering and the mage/lock will not know that he/she is being whispered to since Traveler intercepts and hides that communication. The mage/lock that receives the incoming whisper will add the requestor to his/her list of "Customers". The mage/lock will receive a notification (sound and minimap/titan text change) that a new customer was added. As a customer, if you don't get invited/summoned, it could be that the supplier is busy or afk.

Note: If you are running Traveler and don't see anthing in the destination tab, it's probably because there are barely any people running it. This addon works best when everybody uses it, so get out the word. If you want to know how many people are currently running Traveler, do a "/chatlist Traveler" and see how many other people are in the channel.
